It is our mission to continue to bridge the gap for low-income working families when they experience a financial emergency.

Wim Tapley, an artist that perfected his craft right here in Athens while he attended UGA, pairs a deeply personal songwriting style with a voice that feels like an instant classic. His sound is described as, "Firmly rooted in Americana and dashed with glamorous pop sensibilities, the swinging depths of neo-soul, and a sprinkling of riotous horns, Wim’s arresting sound is as fresh as it is ageless, as fevered as it is raucous fun.
Ever-inspired by the alchemy that happens on stage, in the studio Wim’s instruments stay live and edges remain raw. A sonic westward expansion of fuzzed-out guitars, defiant horns, and dusty vocals, his discography blazes a fresh new take on folk-pop while honoring the songwriting giants that paved the way before him like Jason Isbell, Bill Withers, and Chris Stapleton."

A standout product of the legendary Athens music scene, Karma Kat emerged in 2023 with a raw energy that has quickly matured into something far more intricate. Over the past two years, the band has meticulously refined their sound into a sophisticated blend of rock & jazz that creates a truly unique indie sound. Known for their self-titled anthem, 'Karma Kat,' from their debut eponymous album, the group continues to push the boundaries of homegrown music.
Karma Kat is well known for their live performances as they are as electrifying as they are polished, delivering a level of professionalism and stage presence that far exceeds their years. The lead singer truly commands the room, making every live show an unforgettable experience.
