Volunteers help The Ark provide hope to our neighbors by allowing us to assist our neighbors in their particular times of need. We would not be able to provide all of our services without the help of our dedicated volunteers who give their time and energy and contribute to making our organization a success. ​

There are two positions a volunteer fills:

1. Interviewer:

Conducts one on one interview with neighbors on an appointment basis. Interviewers gather information regarding the neighbor’s current financial situation and work with the Director to make decisions regarding the eligibility for financial assistance.

2. Intake :

Answers incoming phone calls, writes all food bank referrals and conducts intake paperwork on all neighbors.
